Beautiful Plants For Your Interior

Hummingbirds are attracted to nectar-rich flowers and other sources of food, so it’s best to locate a hummingbird feeder where it will be visible to hummingbirds and easy for you to refill and maintain. Some good places to hang a hummingbird feeder include:
- Near a window or other opening where you can see the feeder from inside your home. This will allow you to enjoy the hummingbirds up close and make it easy to refill the feeder when needed.
- In a tree or shrub, preferably at least 5 feet off the ground. Hummingbirds like to feed from flowers that are at least this high off the ground, so they will be more likely to notice the feeder if it is located at a similar height.
- In a sunny location. Hummingbirds are attracted to heat and will be more likely to visit a feeder that is located in a sunny spot.
- Away from predators. Hummingbirds can be vulnerable to predators such as cats and birds of prey, so it’s important to hang the feeder in a location that is out of reach of these animals.
It’s also a good idea to place your hummingbird feeder near some flowering plants, as this will provide additional food sources for the hummingbirds and may attract even more of them to your yard.
